Blonde Spot set to stand first in Kill You Stakes
Blonde Spot is all set to claim top spot in the Peter Riste Full Fat Definitely Gonna Kill You Stakes, a high-profile Grade A1 contest that will go down at Romford racecourse on Wednesday night, June 6.
On the flat track of 400 metres, the J. Reynolds-trained brindle dog will show his guts against five worthy competitors such as Fennis Mac, Redhot Poker, Beat Them Becks, Romeo Scout and Newinn Phanter. The prize purse contains £135.
Blonde Spot has accomplished some iconic and impressive feats since the beginning of 2012. After bagging a couple of consecutive victories in January, the three-year-old veteran hound moved ahead to win a race on February 28.
The dashing dog again grabbed two back-to-back triumphs in the month of March. After getting a runner-up rank on April 9, he registered an epic conquest on May 7.
Thus, the brilliant son of Blonde Jet out of Blonde Diamond possesses a glorious track record that augurs well for his appearance in tonight’s Stakes.
In his way towards victory, Blonde Spot is likely to face a lot of resistance from Fennis Mac but the maverick dog will be able to carry the day in the end. His chances to finish first are as high as 92 percent.
As far as Fennis Mac is concerned, the E. Gaskin-trained black b***h has been winning with regular intervals since the start of the calendar year. After gaining a mega victory on March 28, the veteran b***h achieved two marvellous top positions along with
a runner-up rank in May.
The daughter of Ballymac Maeve out of Droopys Mercury will try her utmost to impede Blonde Spot and the battle between the duo is likely to make the event thrilling enough.
Redhot Poker will also do well in the race. The M. Wiley-trained young dog won a big race each in January and February 2012. He proceeded to grab two consecutive triumphs in March. He elegantly finished first in his second last start on May 16.
Thus, there will be a rip-roaring competition in the Stakes. The event will attract a huge crowd. Let us go for the fabulous action.
