Blonde hair turned green from hair dye.. HELP?

Question

I have originally dirty blonde hair color, and yesterday I dyed it a darker blonde and it came out gray/green. So I dyed it again (the same day) going for a lighter, caramel color and it didn't change the color that much. How soon can I dye it again if I want to go to a bleach blonde? And why didn't the second dye work?

i'd go to the store and buy the stuff that takes out all hair dye so you'll be back at the natural color and then try to dye it with a different type of hair dye

do not buy anything with a "ash" toner, thats what makes it green, example, ash blonde.......i hope this helps
