Blood Pressure to low?

I'm 14 yrs old, 125 lb. and my BP is 100 over 59, is that low? I run cross country and am very athletic.

Oh and I'm a Type 1 diabetic.

  1. Your BP is excellent and much much much better than 120/80 which is regarded as normal and acceptable.  You have the BP of an athlete and apparently you are an athlete.

    A BP below 90/60 could be low BP and common symptoms of low BP are faintness and actual fainting spells and sometimes dizziness as well.


  2. your blood pressure would be naturally low especially if you run cross country.  You should notice that your resting pulse is also low this is due to the amount of exercise you are giving your heart.  I wouldnt worry about it!!

  3. 4 billion people would love to have your BP.

    keep an eye on your sugar though, especially since you run CC.
