  1. A+ (35 % of the population)

    A- (5% of the population)

    B+ (8% of the population)

    B- (2% of the population)

    AB+ (4% of the population)

    AB- (1% of the population)

    O+ (39% of the population)

    O- (6% of the population)

  2. This is actually very simple... Blood Type goes by A B and O. "A" blood contains the A-antigen and "B" blood contains the B-antigen, but on the other hand "O" does not  contain an antigen. In a combination of AB blood a person would have both antigens present, but O blood can never bind with A or B because (O blood) is "Anti-a" and "Anti-b". Its like this:

A= blood containing "A" antigen and is anti "B"

B= blood containing "B" antigen and is anti "A"

O=blood containing no antigens and is anti "A" and "B"

AB= is blood containing both antigens and has no antibodies present.
