Blood and urine test for life insurance ?

What all do they test for? I know drugs and HIV/AIDS. Do they test for heart problems, other std's, alcohol.etc...? Thanks

  1. They test for drugs, nicotine, alcohol, cholesterol, sugar, etc. They will run a full blood profile and check all of your blood levels and "primary indicators", which could indicate a health condition. The urine test will be checked for your PSA levels (if male) and any blood (protein) in the urine.

    There is no real blood test for heart problems, they will find out about any medical history by requesting your medical records from your primary physician. If there are other doctors involved in your life they will also request the records from them. This is how they determine if there are health problems that connot be detected by blood.
