My 2 yr old has a blood blister that has been on the tip of her finger now for about a week. How long do these usualy last and how do they happen? Is there anything I can do for it?

Thank you!

  1. My husband gets these all time from working on cars and pinching his fingers on stuff. They usually last for a few weeks and then go away on their own. Just don't pop them!

  2. my 2 year old had one and it took about a week and it went away. I wouldn't worry about it.

  3. Usually they get them from pinching their skin/finger in something like a bi-fold closet door or something that closes like that.  It will go away soon- not much you can do for it.
