Blood clots in period....please help

TTC #2 for over a year. really thought i was preg this time....tired, feelin sick, fuller, sore b***s. but then i started to bleed. it is only light and there are clots in the blood. they arent big (maybe about 2cm). only worried as this has never happened before, i never clot.

i am wondering if it might have soethin to do with an internal thing i had done last month (like a smear, due to bleeding after s*x) i havent been due or had a period since this was done. i also had bad cramps the day after i had the test done.

is any of this anythin to worry about do you think?

(would just like to add i am 23, happily married and got 1 two year old son - some people have refused to give me info before cause they dont know how old i am. lol)

Hey there!

I get clots during my period every month. I freaked out in the beginning too, but I have talked to the doctor and friends and they all seem to think its normal, some of my friends have it too. Just make sure that you keep your body hydrated and eat plenty of iron rich foods during your period, this will help tremendously. Have a look at this link, its helped me out many times!
