Question:

Blood drive: spread the word?

I just need a whole lot of email address to like random people, I don’t care if I know them or not. I just need to spread the word about a particular blood drive, which requires a lot of volunteers/donors. So I need a way of contacting a bunch of people: preferably through email addresses cause it’s convent for me that way. Thank you very much you guys....

And please remember you can make a difference!

  1. This certainly smacks of spam.  Your best bet is to send emails to people you know who live in the area where the blood drive will be held.  Ask them to send the message to other people in the area.  You'll soon have contacted hundreds of people who might actually be able to participate in your drive rather than sending it to a bunch of people who'll mark you as "spam" and delete you.

  2. Not helping you spam people!  Besides, people don't read email from folks they don't know anymore, too many viruses spread that way, and it will make people think badly of your event.  You'd do better to take out an ad in the local media, many will post community events like this for free, and people are more likely to listen to what you have to say.
