My baby is both breastfed and formula fed. She was on Similac Sensitive since she was 1 month old. I asked dr. if it was okay to give enfamil lipil since we received a case from a relative. She was on it wed., thurs, fri, and sat. She had diarrhea each day sometimes twice immediately after having a bottle of formula. So I than put her back on Similac Sensitive Sun, Mon., Tues. and than on Wed I found blood in her stool. What could this be? I also used funugreek which gave me massive diarrhea also, and ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches with milk. I called dr. right away and was advised to give baby similac alllumuntum. Now she is having watery brown bms right after having a bottle. Calling dr first thing in morning. Now what do you think it might be? Any suggestion on what I should do?

  1. When daughter was about 2 months old she also had blood in her stool, in my case she had burst the tiny little capillaries in her bowel. The doctor explained that because little babies can have such force full poos that this can happen. But this is what happened to me. I would always seek medical advice when it comes to blood coming out of anywhere. I do hope your little one is okay, and i is only something really minor like what happened to me. I understand how you feel, i was so worried since it was the first thing that had ever gone wrong with her.

    good luck
