Blood in CM? Did I scratch myself?

Hi all, a few days ago I think I noticed what I am hoping was ovulation spotting. It lasted a couple of days and stopped, and I was very dry. (Sorry about the graphic nature) Today I wanted to try and check the CM so I stuck my finger there. Perhaps I was too rough, because at times it hurt a little bit, but I kept on going.

When I went to the washroom about half an hour later and wiped, I noticed the TP was first peachy/pinkish in colour (same colour as the "ovulation spotting") then there was a little blood mixed with the CM.

Do you think it was because I was too rough and scratched myself or something else? Please help!

You were most likely correct the first time...ovulation spotting...it comes and goes...

I agree with other two responders.  You probably scratched yourself a little and it definitely sounds like ovulation spotting.  I hate that dry feeling. =(
