Question:

Blood in cats f***s?

My cat, who is about two years old, started to p**p on the floor right after I brought my baby home from the hospital. Everyone told me it was just because he was jealous she was getting all the attention. Now, a few weeks later, I keep finding dark blood in his f***s. Other than that the p**p looks normal. Does he just need more attention, or is it more serious?

  1. lack of attention wouldn't cause this-take him to the vet

  2. Dark blood not good at all.

    It means somethings wrong internally.

PLEASE take it to the vets.

    ASAP!

  3. Aww.. the poor thing. Your cat is probably having a hard time digesting, so when he finally does the blood comes. That's so sad ):! Take him to the vet right away. He will most likely know what to do and of course find an easy treatment. And another thing, give your cat love and attention just as much as your baby. I know it sounds wrong, but it IS the right thing to do! Good luck and god bless.

  4. I would take your cat to the vet just to be sure that nothing's wrong.  It sounds like it could be something that you need to get treated.

  5. this cat needs taken to the vet ASAP!  you need to rule out a whole host of illnesses, cats often are in trouble by the time they are symptomatic and address treatment options if it is serious.  it does not guarantee trouble but anything that's managable should be addressed quickly.  my cat produced a tiny amount of blood (although it was bright red) and because he didn't produce enough digestive enzymes, i simply gave him a bit of yogurt every couple of days.  do not delay, simple jealousy does not manifest itself in this manner.

  6. you could have given him food that was recalled or out of date take him to the vet asap
