I was just a tiny bit of blood in my spit but NOT coughed up just when you have too much blood in between your nose and mouth so you spit it up.

I'm really panicking about it.

What is it?

  1. Maybe blood from gums. Maybe from nose, a vein broke a little bit then went down to the mouth. dont worry

  2. I am sure there is nothing to be concerned about with a tiny bit of blood you are describing even dry air can irritate the lining of your nose causing broken capillaries etc. If the blood loss was persistent or increases with clots etc then obviously you need to get it checked out.

  3. Without much more information to go on....

Is it possible that their has been a recent climate change where you live, like the air getting drier than usual?  Possibly it's a capilary vein that got aggitated and popped inside your nose or around sinuses that when you sniffed you got blood in your mouth?  That's the most common thing I can think that would cause that little amount of blood thats no usual.

If you are getting it when you cough, then you need to go to the doctor right away.  Otherwise just pay attention if you get it again or it occurs more often, then you should see your doctor.
