Blood thinners and my period?

Question

ok so for about a week now ive been on blood thinners.. i have some clots in my left arm.. so my doctor put me on plavix.. and im also on ortho-tri-cyclen lo birth control.. and today i got my period.. i usaly get it in the afternoon but when i woke up blood was everywhere.. not its my normal period but im still scared i might bleed to much.. im suppose to start a new pack of pills in 4 days.. but if i start them today.. will it stop my period and if it does will i be ok?? or is that not healthy??

i would call your doctor they have answering services on the weekends your doctor will call you back and tell him whats going on and he will tell you if you have something to worry about or not!!

well ur gonna bleed alot more because of the pills ur on but im on bithcontrol but a different type and it wont stop ur period it will make it alot lighter
