Blood type and personality?

Is there any link between the different blood types and personality ? does having a particular blood type determine in any way your character? I've heard that some people believe that there is a connection between the blood type and intelligence. What do you think?

  1. The only mystical stuff I believe in is mystical badgers that appear in your shower and sing the star spangled banner and turn you into a fairy

  2. I don't know if all that is true.

I also heard that there are special diets according to blood types, certain foods that are healthy for certain blood types but I don't know what to say...

  3. I did some reading about this a few years back. According to the myth (and yes it is a myth), I should be a meat-eater, hardy, slightly chubby person because I'm O+. In reality, I have a very thin, slight frame, no tolerance for cold weather, and I only really enjoy eating fish.  They also said that I should only be of average intelligence, but I tested as having a very high IQ. (Side note on that: high IQ doesn't = common sense, but that's another post...)  When I tried the "Eat Right For Your Type" diet, I was told to eat mostly meat and avoid grains, including corn. I have never been more miserable in my life, and I immediately gained 15lbs. When I went back to eating grains and fruits again, I lost all of the weight within a month. Long story short: people made the mistake of assuming that IQ, personality, etc. were linked to blood-type because they're actually genetically linked. Your parents are very likely to have the same blood-type, IQ range, metabolism, and some of the same personality traits. It's not in the blood, it's in the genes!
