  1. blood groups are A B AB and O they can be either positive or negative, if both parents are O neg then you are O neg, If 1 parent is O neg and 1 parent O pos then you can be either 1. Does this help clear it up, think back to science at school 2 positives don't make a negative, and 2 negatives don't make a positive, Your blood group comes from one or the other parent.

  2. maybe one of them is not the baby`s true parent...you know what i am trying to hint at right?

  3. Blood grouping is a very complicated.

The basic Blood Groups are A, B, AB and O.

The Positive is or Negative is from another factor found in the blood, known as Rhesus factor.

The other issue here is heredity. Just because both parents have the same blood type won't mean that the child will have the same blood type. This is because the genes for this could be a few and also whether this is a dominante or recessive trait. If it is a recessive trait then even if both parents have the factor.

These are both intricate and complicated.

  4. I'm trynig to recall my biology from years ago, so it here goes:

Each of your parents contribute a part to your blood group. For blood type O, it is O (from mother) and and O (from father), or OO. For blood type A, it could be AA or AO or OA. The same principles applies for for blood type B and AB.

So for parents with O+ blood type, each parent may have either O-O+ or O+O+.

Since the child has O- blood type, it would mean that the parents each have O-O+, with both parents "contributing" their O- part of their blood type to the child, resulting in the child having O- blood type.

  5. main blood groups are A, B, AB and O

if both parents are blood group O then all thier children will be blood group O as well. As O is a resesive gene and you need two copies of it (one from each parent) to be blood group O)

the -/+ is a different sort of sub grouping but again it is genetic. both parents therfore must have one -ve and one +gene. As the +ve one is dominant you are both O+.

hence there is a 25% chance any child will inherit both -ve genes (one from each parent) and be O-
