Bloodshot?

from when i was about 7, a large bloodshot appeared on 1 of my eyes. its been there ever since. it doesn't hurt or anything, but people often ask me stuff about it. what is it and what caused it?

and please don't give me stupid answers like "hangover"

Its just a  blood vessel. Nothing to worry about. If you've had it for years and years then i wouldnt be concerned.
