Question:

Bloody Eyes From Conacts?

by  |  earlier

I got my contacts for the 1st time yesterday, put them in and let the doctor check my eyes.

When I took them out if I turned my eyes towards my nose, the sides were bloody (not super red) and now they are orange-ish.

Am I allergic?

  1. You could be but then again it could be your contact solution.

When I first got contacts my doctor put me on Renu and it freaked my eyes out, like yours.

I switched to Optifresh but it eventually did the same thing.

I ended up having to purchase this brand, AMO.

You could change to a solution for sensitive eyes.

In any event, go back to your doctor, messing with your eyes is serious business.

  2. You may be allergic to it. Or you could have had mishandled wearing your contacts. try to check the box of your purchase contacts' expiry date as well as the bottled cleaner you have. if these passed, then make sure you clean your contacts well by soaking atleast 4 hours time then always have your hands clean before wearing them. if same situation still persists, take it off right away then see your optamologist/ eye doctor for advice.

  3. You might have something in your eyes that could be causing your eyes to become scratched.  Take the lenses out and clean them.  Try putting eye drops for contact lenses.  It worked for me.
