BloodyMary / CandyMan / Devil ..?

Question

I've seen the film Candyman & Urban Legend Bloody Mary.

Has anyone actually done the mirror?

When you go into a room, on your own, at about midnight with no lights on, looked into a mirror and said ''Candyman'' or ''BloodyMary''

3 - 5 times whilst spinning around?

Has anything ever happened to you?

As at a sleepover, I dared someone to do it, but considering I'd not like to do it myself... i decided it was a bad idea.

Has anything actually happened to anyone?

Please let me know if this is just some myth or legend because I am too scared to do this myself ...

i've done it once, but after became really scared! lol always looking over my shoulder when theres no one around!

but in a way it released me of thinkin, humm what would happen if i did it! but now i did it and it's just for 1-2 days the being paranoid part!

if u do it dont be scared it's a load of bull! :P

i live in the country side tho, maybe coz it's an urban mith it doesnt get to me! lol

The movie being called Urban Legend should have been your first hint...

Its an Urban Legend- no one has ever died or had any serious accidents from this(unless someone has a heart condition and scared themselves to death)... Lots of children and young teenagers do this for a cheap thrill but obviously nothing happens(otherwise there would be hundreds of thousands of unexplained deaths each year

Candyman is a FILM, hence it is a fictional story.

The only people usually gullable enough to fall for the Bloody Mary thing are overly-excitable teenage girls.

Perhaps you should also send this message to 30 people, or you will suffer bad luck for 7 years/never fall in love/a dead person will haunt you etc....

uh its not true. try it as much as u like its not true. just like the boogyman and freddie and jason lol. even if u may hillusinate a scary looking thing, its only your mind making u see what u want to c, or expecting to c.

yes it is true i did it wen i was about 14-15 i had marry walker wiith me for 5 days no joke she did not harm me i felt like i was been protected and tehres also one called marry walker thats the one i did she was ok i do no the candyman is evil i wont do that one and not to sure on bloodymary but just be carefull still

These are films, made up by people who want to scare kids.  Nothing will happen to you, its all pretend.

I've seen Candyman and no I wouldn't do it, lol that film scared the c**p out of me!!

I'm just a bit of a wuss when it comes to things like that.  I wouldn't do a Ouija board either.

We have done the bloody Mary bit, but we just sat in a circle with a mirror in the middle of us and said bloody mary 5 times and it did actually work, we saw the appearance of a woman dressed in an old dress, we could pretty much just see her face and chest area, and we all started to get freaked out and we all jumped up, then a wind came whirling through the room, and pulled out all the clothes out of the dresser and and flipped up the blankets, and we were trying to get out of the room but the door would not open, until one of us prayed to God to make it stop, then everything went quiet, and the door opened, we were so scared, I never did it again, and I wouldn't suggest that you ever do either, unless if you feel you really must that you do it in a huge group, and have faith in God to protect you.

ok..this is what happend to me.. i put one candle in front of the mirror

spun around 5 times chanting bloody mary..on the last spin i turned to the mirror and saw a very blury image of a woman with a old tattered dress...when i got out i heard a quiet sound..like she said "Shhhhhe"

when i stopped panicing i called my freind over to try it again when i did that again nothing happened

As the smart people have already said, its not real and nothing happens. You might think you see it, because when you're spinning and suddenly stop, an image (usually just something a little bright) will appear. Most people mistake that for Bloody Mary.
