Blow-drying color treated hair?

When blow drying color treated hair, somebody I know found red chunks fall on the ground. She thought it was probably the color that she treated my hair with. Her hair is black and she highlighted it with streaks of red. She was wondering how to stop this peeling. Thanks!

never had that problem.  Maybe she got some on her scalp thats peeling off?

I blow dry my color treated hair and have no problem.... it could be her shampoo....
