Blow-drying over braids to create crimpiness?

Question

I often put medium sized braids in my hair after I get out of the shower & towel dry.. This makes my hair crimpy/wavy and I love it. I always do this before bed so there is plenty of time for the braids to dry and become crimpy, but I'm pressed for time and I was wondering if blow-drying over the braids would have the same effect?

it will, I've done it before, but I use the two strand twist instead of an actual braid, to give it a little wave...but it'll work.

yes...deff!!

i have done this many times... and it has the same effect!

but i have to tell you that you may want to put mousse in your hair before and after you are done with the braids... to cause less to no frizz 8)
