Blow drying your hair straight ? :)?

Question

how can you blow dry your hair straight..

i have wavy, poofy, thick hair so i was wondering if that was possible..

It's easier just to straighten it, because when you blow-dry your hair straight, it gets wavy again over the course of the day. But if you're set on that, hold a towel against your hair, blowdry the hair against it with your hand behind the towel so you don't get burned, and hold your hair straight while you're blowdrying it or it won't end up straight!

Yes it is:

1) get a thick brush

2) section towel dried hair

3) place brush firmly against scalp grabbing as much hair as possible

4) pull brush straight out a little at a time so hair is straight & tight

5) blow dry the hair NOT the hair in the brush, the Hair being pulled straight.

Of course, a straightening iron works best. If you are careful with supervision, back-in-the-day...we used to use a clothes iron...but please be careful,  ask an adult to help.

u have to blow dry it while brushing it with the big barrel brush

its really a pain

It's possible but I think it takes too long, it's noisy, for me it makes my hair even more frizzy, more poofy, and wavy and it still damages your hair because you're still using heat so might as well just straighten it. Well what I have is http://www.conair.com/-p-446.html . I only use it at night when I don't feel like going to the process of blow drying and ironing. It works fine but I think my iron is better. Just use heat protector.

It is possible. It may not be quite a good as it would be with a flat iron. But if you have a paddle brush, I recommened once with boar bristles not plastic ones. You can get it pretty straight. Dry it section by section and follow the brush down your hair with the dryer. You can probably find a demo video on the net somewhere
