Blowgun barrel length?

Question

i am planning on getting a new blowgun and i have many choices and i am going with .625 caliber only and i need to know the best length for the barrel because i want to achieve the highest velocity possible.

Generally if you have the energy, the longer the better...the Yanomamo of South America use a blowgun which is almost eight feet long.

Bigger the better.

(more time for the pressure to send it flying faster with a longer barrel)_(-not sure if i worded that correctly... 0.o)

I had to go check mine to see. First, my old blowgun is .40 caliber, 2 piece and 4 1/2 feet long and made in the Philippines. I bought it there while on TDY in the 80's
