Blowing up Ruby Tuesday's

Question

The commercial says watch as we blow up the last older Ruby Tuesday on August 5th at Ruby-Tuesdays.com. Is this a marketing hoax or are they really going to blow up one of there stores? If so where at... and why?

i worked for rubys up until 2 weeks ago. i worked at the crabtree valley mall location in raleigh and it it still the old style the wholw thing was a stunt a really stupid stunt that ihope blows up in their face

NO they did not blow it up. I was watching(nothing better to do at work LOL) they acted (poorly) like they where going to but instead "blew up" the restaurant next door.

anybody catch what the place next door was? It looked like the same architect as all the rest of their other bland look a like buildings.

it's because Ruby Tuesday had been one of the worst diners in casual dining category, so blowing up the last "old style" ruby tuesday restaurant is part of their "It's a brand new Tuesday" ad campaign. after they blow it up, more commercials are gonna appear telling us about the "new look" and how it went from "old to modern"...

Yea I was watching it too.  I'm home sick today. I swear I have a life!! But yea the commercial was lame.  A build then a shutdown. It did make me a little hungry though.  But not for Ruby's!
