Blown Sub/Amp question?

I have 2 8'' subs in tubes, each has built in amp. Yesterday both stoped working at the same time. the fuse on the hot cable to the battery is still good. both subs are wired from the same source, cables are split and fed to each amp. is it possible to blow BOTH amps at the same time??

To blow both at the same time is rare, but isnt impossible. Before that being your conclusion though, recheck everything including power cable, ground, RCA both at the amps and the head unit, also check the fuses in the amps. Good luck
