  1. If it made a pop and a smokey smell, it probably isn't a fuse.

Most electronics don't have fuses that are easy to get to anymore, they are components on a circut board.

As for where to get it fixed?

    Sales, Technical & General Support

    7 Days a week 10AM-7PM ET

    U.S.: 1-800-FOR-HIFI

    Outside U.S.: 1-405-742-6704

Try contacting them and asking them if they have recommended service centers.  Most companies do because they have to send an outside contractor in for warranty repairs.

  2. This is likely the big capacitor has blown. You need a qualified technician to do the repair for you. If you are not sure where to get help, email the customer support. They will direct you to the service centre near you.

If i were you, i will buy a new amp. since it's already too old. You can pay and have it fixed but most electronic components in there are ageing. They will break down anytime. Life span is up.
