Why do dvd's come in both Blu-Ray and HD?

  1. They are two rival High definition formats. You can expect to see HD-DVD's disapper pretty soon, as of 7 minutes ago Toshiba, the developer of HD-DVD has officially stopped production.


  2. Its kinda like why can you get burgers at both McDs and burger king....they both make a similiar product which they believe is superior....like #1 said BluRay has just about won the format war....HD DVD has 1 foot in the grave....
