Blu Ray firmware upgrade?

Question

I have a Sharp Aquos Blu-Ray dvd player.

Model # BD-HP20U

How do I get the firmware updates or upgrades? A website?

Do I connect the Blu-Ray player to my computer via USB plug or something and directly download from online?

Or maybe they send you a little thumb drive to plug into it?

I've never had to do anything like this before, so I don't want to mess anything up.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Here is where you can download the Firmware update for your Blu-ray....

I believe that you need to put it on a USB and update from that... there must be an option in your menu to update.

EDIT - I downloaded your firmware update... there is a step by step "Read Me" file with it.... you will now a USB drive.... just look at the Read Me, it's very easy.

download the update to your computer from a website, then burn it to a disc, then put the disc in your blu ray player
