Blu-ray plaer load times?

I have seen the customer reviews for a lot of the blu ray players on best buy and i see that a lot of people complain about the load time. How long is this time is it like a minute or two like when a level is loading on a video game or is it long like 10 minutes? Ive heard the PS3 has a good blu ray player is it true and is the load time faster? What Blu ray player would you suggest for me to buy?

YES it is true that the PS3 has the fastest load time only a few second and like 2 minutes at most for some BD movies.

I suggest you buy a PS3 as it too is a game console, Blu-ray player and can update its firmware to newer BD profiles in order it to play new BD movies.

Until you find a blu-ray player that can load a BD disc faster than the PS3, and update its firmware all under the price of $300

My boyfriend got a PS3 a couple months ago...I at first was a skeptic regarding the whole amazing HD that you get with Blu-Ray, but it's awesome! I didn't notice anything different from a watching a regular DVD in a different DVD player regarding load time...oh and if you get a PS3 it's kinda of like 3 in 1...the Playstation for video games (of course), the Blu-ray player, and you can get online and download things...just like a computer...it is really cool

You should buy PS3, it is not only faster, it is also cheaper and more features than stand alone Blu-ray player.

actually the ps3 is currently one of the best and the cheapest bu ray players. and because it can receive software updates you can be sure that it wont become outdated. sony can just keep updating until a new hardware innovation comes out. go with ps3. plus as a bonus you get a game console. its still amazing its as cheap as it is when you consider the price of other blu ray players that arent even as good. trust me the ps3 actually exceeds the performance of blu ray players that are designed just to play them. buy with confidence :)
