Blu-ray problem with audio skipping?

I played a regular dvd in my blu ray player. Ever since then when I play a blu ray disk the sound will skip off track with the video after 5 minutes. Unsure what to do.

A number of things could be the problem.  The lens could be damaged or dirty.  If it's damaged I hope it is still under an extended warranty.  Or your blu-ray player might need a firmware update.  Contact wherever you bought your blu-ray player and ask them to help you with a firmware update.
