Blue Artisan all set for an artistic act in Williamhill.com Classic - 1st Semi-final at Sunderland
There are many dangerous hounds in Saturday's Williamhill.com Classic - 1st Semi-final at Sunderland, but Blue Artisan’s winning momentum is very hard to ignore. The blue dog is coming into the big battle after half a dozen successive victories at different
venues, and holds a fine chance of seizing the top position.
After crushing the opposition at Coven, H. Williams’ charge resumed his Sunderland journey with a fascinating performance. In the last round of the Classic, the son of Droopys Maldini performed magnificently, bagging the first prize by 6¾ lengths.
He was quite impressive right through the event, as he did not let anyone spoil his party. After such an excellent success, the dashing hound is brimming with confidence and despite the presence of a few high profile hounds, Blue Artisan looks to be in good
position to do a very good job tonight.
Among his opponents are: Lil Risky, Mill Bling Bling, Ayamzaman, Mountjoy Rock and Longrange Ivor. The 450 metres open race is scheduled to get underway at 20:26 (GMT). It holds a handsome cash prize worth £250.
Lil Risky is also pumped up with confidence following a comprehensive victory last time. The opening round of the championship saw him topping the table by 4¾ lengths. The M. Wallis-trained led the proceedings all the way through and crossed the wire in
a great fashion.
Mountjoy Rock is a pacey individual, but needs to raise his game in order to do well. Trained by E. Parker, the black dog was third in the list last time. Mill Bling Bling is a superstar, but since he has been unlucky over the past few weeks, it is hard
to recommend him for the top place.
Longrange Ivor will have to produce a career best effort to fancy his chances. Similarly, Ayamzaman needs to get a decent lead in the beginning, otherwise his chances will evaporate.
According to our calculation, Lil Risky and Blue Artisan are going to battle hard for the top rank. The latter is in better form and gets our nod. Mill Bling Bling is likely to be the third one to make it to the finale. Good luck to all the runners.
