Blue Artisan to show a clinical performance in Williamhill.com Classic Final at Sunderland
Six fast and furious hounds have made it to the grand finale of Williamhill.com Classic, following their wonderful act in the opening two rounds. Every single contestant is full of spirit, but Blue Artisan is most likely to come up with an artistic performance
in the £25000 event, scheduled to take place at Sunderland on Thursday, July 12th.
H. Williams’ charge came to this track after registering five consecutive triumphs at different venues. He faced no difficulty in adding another classy triumph to his tally, sealing an emphatic victory in the first round of the Classic.
He showed an outstanding performance all the way through, seizing the top rank by 6¾ lengths. After such an excellent effort, he was in great position to dominate the proceedings, but did not favour him that day. As a result, the blue dog finished second
behind Mill Bling Bling in the first semi-final.
In the opening round of the championship, the son of Droopys Maldini stopped the clock in 26.68 – the fastest time so far in the competition. If he manages to come up with an equally good show, there is no reason why he should not have a big run tonight.
Among his opponents are: Droopys Loner, Wells Honour, Mill Bling Bling, Loughteen Blanco and Holycross Prince. The 450 metres flat race is set to begin at 21:45 (GMT).
Droopys Loner is still unbeaten in the ongoing contest. The blue and brindle b***h crushed Mill Bling Bling by 4¾ lengths in the first round of the Classic. D. Childs’ trainee perpetuated her good work to win the semi-final by 1¾ lengths. She has been consistent
so far, and holds a very good chance tonight.
Loughteen Blanco’s latest effort shows that he will struggle against this line-up. Holycross Prince is unlikely to make things problematic for the shorter-priced contestants.
Mill Bling Bling surprisingly defeated Blue Artisan in the second round after facing a terrible loss in the first round. Wells Honour ran very well in the last two races, but needs to raise his game in order to win a race of this nature.
Droopys Loner’s consistent run is hard to ignore, but Blue Artisan was so impressive in the opening round that he can easily declared the banker in today’s mega event. We wish the best of luck to all the runners.
