Blue Glenard to retain form for the Coral On TV Maidens Trophy – Heat 2
With the highest potential to be the first one through the wire in the second heat of the Coral On TV Maidens Trophy, is the two-year-old blue b***h, Blue Glenard. She is preferred the most due to her impressive performance at Romford just the past Friday,
tonight is backed by 7 to 4 odds. The race will be staged at Romford on Monday, 27th August over 400 metres flat.
Participating for getting entitled to the £150 prize money are Moyar Mac, Quarterland Clas, Droopys Chief, Boher General and Our Little Gem.
Droopys Scolari’s two-year-old daughter has been active for two seasons now. Her entrance in the current season was marked by three training sessions which helped her bagging the seasonal debut.
The two-year-old won a 450 metres race on 7th March, 2012 at Sunderland. She was quick to race away and then lead for the remaining distance, making it across the wire in 27.82 seconds.
Winning the race by 6 ¼ lengths meant that Cinderella Lucy lost by 6 ¼ lengths.
She has raced at Romford too and tried her luck at Nottingham just once. Winning races remained a rare occasion as she just could not sustain the form each time she won and neither was she trained ever after the beginning of the season.
The D. Mullins trained captured the Grade A2 Williamhill.Com Stakes on 26th May, 2012 at Sunderland over 450 metres. Being swift after leashing out of the fourth gate and maintaining the lead clocked the track distance in 27.60 seconds. The favourite
entry of the race defeated the runner-up, Cabbies Star, by 2 ¾ lengths.
Next time the blue b***h won was after more than a month. She took 24.14 seconds to race through the 400 metres distance at Romford on 7th August, 2012. Her dominance over the final 1 ¾ lengths had Droopys Gizmo settled as the runner-up.
Blue Glenard made the most of the Coral, Bet By Phone 0800 242 232 Maidens on 24th August, 2012 at Romford over 400 metres. She made it to the other end of the wire in 24.07 seconds with the decisive 3 ¾ lengths under her belt.
