    He is a tough,classy coach. I personally think its a good match.

  4. If you like boring defensive-trap style play, he is a great coach! His conservative play style will eventually lead CLM into the playoffs.

  6. Yes, it was one of the smartest moves they have done in the off season. Hitchcock knows what he is doing, and keeping him around will bring nothing but good to the Jackets Organization.

    The 2007-2008 NHL season was by far the best season in franchise history for Columbus, and a great deal of credit is owed to Coach Ken Hitchcock.

  7. In hockey it usually takes about five years for a coach to mould a team, but unfortunately many of them get fired after two or three seasons, usually by a General Manager who has screwed up because he's picked players who didn't work out.

    So yes, good move.

  8. Absolutely they did. Columbus has really been flying under the radar this offseason, but they have made some very solid moves. They are well on their way to building a competitive franchise.
