Watch the Jays. They're getting hot! they've won 5 straight. 6.5 out of the wildcard. 8 out of the division. Since Cito has returned they are 18-12. Rays, Yankees, and Red Sox fans.... BEWARE! GO JAYS!!!!! :>

  1. Oh yeah! Go! Jays! Go! To bad McGowans gone though : (.

  2. they're 5 win streak is against the orioles and mariners...

i'm not saying that this means they can't win but i say wait until monday, when they go against the Tampa Bay Rays.

then we'll see whether or not they are something to worry about.

  3. Who doubted it? I said from day one they were contenders and I haven't yet pulled back from that. It's getting hot, the sluggers are wearing down, and the teams with the pitching arms will begin to win their games. That's a tough division this year from EVERYONE, even the Orioles.

  4. i'm a jays fan too:P i love the optimism but the thing is...let's not get too ahead of ourselves. i mean, they're not back in it just yet...they really have to sweep some series and go an a run...not like a 6 -game win strk...i mean like a long stretch where they run the table. cause there are lots of team ahead of them in the wild card race. if they can sweep series against the rays, yankees, or red sox...they are definitely in it! but that's likely to not happen but they can at least win series...they should've beat the rays in the series last weekend.:P they need more offense....halladay aint enough

  5. slow down and take a reality check. I'm neither a blue jay hater nor lover, but in all honesty, they gotta play about .850 ball for 10 more weeks--too many teams ahead of them to start getting excited. All that said, perhaps i am being too negative about the jays because i'm jealous i just can't seem to become excited about my guys, the seattle mariners.

  6. BOOYA Baby go Jays! I was at Saturday's game against Seattle! the nobody pitcher won 8-3!!!

  7. he is somthing to consider...In 1989 when Cito first became manager at the same game number the jays were 51-53 and they made the playoffs in pre-wildcard era.  The Jays currently are 53-51 so they are in better shape then they were then. Another thing is that this team hasn't even been hitting at their career average so if they hit a little better and just keep pitching the same they could make a run. It's a long short but it has been done before by the blue jays with this same manager.

  8. Dude I hate your F**king guts.  You made that stupid @ss song about the Yankees and called Derek Jeter a bitc*.

    Burn in h**l.

EDIT: Have you noticed that the Jays have been in fourth and last place in the AL East? They are in last, then fourth, then last again... What makes you think they're gonna take the AL East? You're freaking nuts.

  9. Bro, the Blue Jays are dominating the Orioles and Mariners.

Orioles - Lost 9 of their last 13.

Mariners - Red Sox swept 'em once, Yankees swept 'em twice

If you think, because of domination against THOSE two teams, the Yankees/Rays/Sox should be worried - I laugh in your face.

Oh and, the Yankees have beaten actual contending playoff teams to win 8 in a row. Your theory that the Jays are the team to beat is hereby SHOT! Have a great day.
