Question:

Blue Jeans... Bleed onto my WHITE SHOES?

Okay, every year, I buy white shoes.

K-Swiss, Adidas and this year I bought freaking Air Force 1's.

Now, let me clarify, every year I get my blue/black jeans bleeding on my shoes. Then the dye NEVER EVER COMES OUT. Ha ha, any ideas on keeping them from bleeding?

I am washing my pants as we speak, so they don't bleed, but I did that last year and it still bled. Any help?

By the way, these shoes were almost $100. if anyone makes me ruin them, you're taking full responsibility. ;) J.k Ha ha.

  1. I hate when that happens.

I have a question - though you might take it as an insult - how expensive are the jeans? I know sometimes that even designer jeans bleed, but typically cheaper jeans do as well. I'd say maybe change the jeans to a lighter denim to avoid future problems.

I've never had a problem with American Eagle or Seven For All Mankind Jeans (I believe they have a men's line as well). A cheaper brand I like is Industrial Cotton (under $25 a pair.)

As for the shoes, throw them in the wash (separate, of course). It should come out without a problem. Maybe scotch guard the shoes?

    Good luck!

  2. Use half white vinegar and half water very hot water in your bathroom sink , let it soak until cool. Then wash like normal. The vinegar will set the dye and your jeans will stop bleeding, they won't fade so if you want them to fade the you are going to have to keep having blue shoes.
