Blue Rings instead of Green?

Question

So my friend is a super hacker on XBOX 360 and he said he gave himself "Blue Rings" he also has a PREMIUM XBOX 360, he says it stops him from getting Red Rings and so forth then I asked him if he could give my XBOX 360 the blue rings but he said well its sketchy and if Microsoft finds out they'll crash your system so that put me at a blank with why he'd give it to himself.

Is there such a thing as Blue Rings? And does it turn the Green Rings Blue?

Your friend is full of ****  Red ring of death is a hardware failure not a light failure. All he could be talking about blue rings is replacing the green LED light in the front panel light to blue. and Microsoft wont crash your system they are incapable of that think about what are they gonna do come to your house and destroy your xbox hahahhaha!

he just opened his box and swapped the LED's. The new blue ones that he put in are not two colored (ones that you have to change the polarity to get a different color) He also removed some parts that decide how an xbox lights up it's rings when there is an error. so no, he won't have the RED rings of death, but he may still get a hardware failure. If he does, then he is screwed, because MS won't fix tampered with Xbox's.

I wouldnt do it.  Just cuz if microsoft finds that u've modded ur xbox the warrenty will be void.  If u get red rings leave microsoft to fix it..not ur friend.
