Blue Tambourine completes her hat-trick at Hollywood Park in a starter allowance

Peter Miller trained 5-year-old mare, Blue Tambourine, has been setting the Hollywood Park on fire, be it synthetic or turf, Blue Tambourine can run on any surface and she has gone on to prove it when she finished first in the $48,638 allowance feature at
Hollywood Park and made it three wins in a row there.
The New York bred daughter of Proud Citizen, Blue Tambourine was cut back in distance and switched from turf to synthetic in the starter allowance at Hollywood Park. She ran over a distance of six and a half furlong distance under jockey Joe Talamo and posted
a gate to wire victory.
It was Blue Tambourine’s second since being claimed by trainer Peter Miller for Altamira Racing Stable and David Bernsen for $20,000.
The mare was spotted in a maiden claimer race, where she was taken by Peter Miller after a winning performance over at seven furlongs at Santa Anita Park on 14 October, 2011.
She defeated the maidens there by 3 ½ lengths on dirt and completed the seven furlong distance in 1 minute and 22.72 seconds. Somenchantd Evenin finished second and Warren’s Hopeful finished third on the day.
Blue Tambourine came back to racing in the maiden claimer race after a 14 month layoff and in 2010 she attempted to break her maiden six times but failed to do so as she finished second thrice out of those six attempts.
The mare provided jockey Joe Talamo with his third win of the day, as Blue Tambourine provided the jockey an easy win in the starter allowance when she jumped on to the lead right from the outset and never looked back as she covered the six and a half furlongs
in 1 minute and 16.55 seconds with a one and a half length victory.
Her first for Peter Miller also came at the Hollywood Park, when Blue Tambourine featured in a 1 mile race on turf under Joe Talamo. She comprehensively downed Blue Grass Magic in second and Sheskey in third while covered the 1 mile distance in 1 minute
and 35.85 seconds.
