Blue Vein on Face, Is there anyway to get rid or this or disguise it?

I have a blue vein down the side of my face by my jawline and i hate it. I was just wondering if there is anyway to get rid of it or something? or why has it occurred?

Im quite fair skinned but not too fair as I do tan in the sun (its just that the UK never seems to get any sun these days).

Anyway your advice will be appreciated :)

  1. Haha i have the same thing! Everyone always asks me if i got punched in the face lol!! I dont really know if there is a way to hide it, maybe just some really good makeup? But then again you dont want to cake it on lol! I say just leave it, it makes you you!

  2. I have the same problem. What I do is buy a really cheap concealer - I just use a brand called wild and crazy which is about 99p. Then use a lipstick brush or a really fine brush and just blend with the brush on the vein. It really works and gives you that "natural" look without caking on a load of expensive make-up.

    Hope I helped. x

  3. bit of  concealer? i have one on my neck and my little sister has one near her mouth but we just leave them.

  4. You can get it removed.. im not sure the details though

  5. try studio fix by mac.. or try their giant concealer stick.. i forgot what it's called but it has great coverage and it feels like powder when you put it on..

  6. You can have this vein removed easy peasy just find a good derm in your area and ask about lazers for veins.  Good luck

  7. First off, don't mix a liquid concealer with powder. It's way to obvious and it will look cakey. What you should do is find a concealer that is a shade lighter than your skin-but just barely. Since your vien is blue, you should try dabbing just a tiny smear of (no joke) red lipstick (that is in medium tint, not super light or super dark) on the spot (or along the line) of your vein than putting on a layer of concealer. Afterward, put on your normal foundation (if it isn't liquid) all over your face and very lightly on the spot of the concealed area.

For the all over part, I recommend Bare Minerals because it is like air, goes on pretty evenly, and doesn't stick to the concealer on the spot area.

Some drug stores also sell whole kits made for this purpose. They come with the powder, concealer, brush, and instructions.

    Either way, hope this helped!!

  8. Hi there,

I would go for concealer. Veins are rather important and it may be one of the important ones...like, the one that supplies blood to your scalp and beautiful head of hair!

I use a concealer by QUO...they got a really pale one that works for me. Otherwise, you could learn to live with it, lots of folks have viens that are visible near the surface of the skin. Most of us are too concerned with other things to even notice this about other folks.

  9. I highly reccomend Sheer Cover. Its great, covers everything, blemishes, birthmarks, uneven skintone, freckles etc with the stroke of a brush. It really does what it says on the cover.
