  1. i think the freshlook colorblends look the most natural of them all. the acuvue tend to look brighter whichmakes them look fake. you will have to try the colors on to see which one looks best on you, but there are shades of blue, turquoise, gray, violet, green, and brown. your eye doctor will have all these colors or will be able to order them in for you.

you will have to visit the eye doctor and have a fitting done. depending on the doctor, he may want to do a full eye exam on you first to see if you might need an rx lens and to make sure your eyes are healthy and capable of wearing contact lenses. they will teach you how to put the lenses in, take them out, and care for them.

again, depending on where you go will affect the price.  out contact lens exams start at $110 (that includes the fill dialated exam and fitting fee) if you only get the fitting done, it will probably run between $40-$50. honestly if you are a costco or sams member, they seem to have to cheapest prices on everything (including when you purchase the contacts). the contacts themselves (in our office) run $40 per box, which have six lenses in each box. it will be three pairs (assuming there is no prescription), and each pair is good for 2 weeks.

**these freshlook colored contacts are slightly bigger than the acuvue contacts, so just so you know, they can be harder to get on your eye and some people say they are slightly more uncomfortable than the acuvue lenses, but again, they are much more natural looking (usually).

    good luck

  2. What for?People with brown eyes are the best!

  3. my friend got contacts for her dark brown eyes (she's hispanic so you can barely tell her pupils from her iris) she got this deep turquoise- i'm surprised i could see it ^-^

  4. There is, you dont need a perscription, but they would have to be hard lenses to cover brown or any darker colored eyes

  5. You don't NEED a prescription, but to get contacts that fit the best and won't harm your eyes, you should go to an eye doctors. Don't get any that look too much like a crayon color. It is possible, I've known lots of people with dark brown eyes who have green or blue contacts.

  6. you can go to acuvue.com

and they have a thing where you can

    preview the contacts on youreself

  7. Actually you DO need a prescription for contacts, even for vanity purposes to legally get contacts from a legit optical place.

I always recommended people should try Fresh Look Color blend, because the contacts blend with your own color to give you a natural look.

As the other person mention, Sam's does tend to have the cheapest contacts.

The last price I had for Fresh look was $26.95 a box.  Most optical places charge $40 something for one box.

At my Sam's you didn't need a card to shop in the optical (and pharmacy).  Check with the Sam's Club in your area to see if it is the same there.

When you get a optometrist to write you a prescription, if you get Fresh Look Color blend, the optical place should have samples for you to try on prior to purchasing a box so that you can see what color you would like best on you.

  8. Wow, I want blue eyes too and I have dark brown eyes too. I would ask for Royal Blue. It is a dark blue color. You do not need a prescription.
