at the end do they die or are they asleep when the boat comes

they are asleep the baby dies but they get saved before they die.

i cried so much when i watched this movie .

i loved it .so yeah they get saved .:)

they are asleep in the boat and had fed the baby those poison berries or they ate the berries and the baby lived.. my god its been years... looks like i am going to have to rent it

They're dead.  Only the baby survives.....if you watch "Return to the Blue Lagoon", you'll see the only survivor is the baby boy.....
