Blue ray questions!!?

are blue ray movies region coded?? bcoz some dvds are not playing in ps3 saying region restrictions! so what bout blue ray??

You will have region-encoded Blu Rays just like the Standard DVDs...

The movie producers won't change that because it protects them from DVD pirates....

Blu-ray disks may be region coded but not all studios or films are so coded (See the link for a list).

Blu-ray players enforce coding for both Blu-ray disks and DVDs ... hence the message you get.

Region coding has nothing (or at least very little) to do with preventing p****y ... it's mainly to allow different regions to be used to control timing (and price) of releases and to allow different distributors to handle specific movies in different regions of the world.
