Blue spark and flame came from electric shower pull in ceiling?

Our electric shower keeps turning off itself when you use it and it happened last night when my partner was taking a shower. He got out to pull the cord which was still at on, so he pulled it to off then on again and a blue spark, a bang and an orange flame came from the white box joined to the ceiling. Since this happened my cooker has also stopped working.

Anyone any ideas whats happened??

Did you trip a breaker ? Check the panel.But l don't think l'd take a shower until you get that thing looked at.

That is what you call an electrical short, it blew the fuse or the breaker. you must find out why and repair before you reset the breaker or install a new fuse.
