Blue string beans planted on a box how much will yield?

Question

I have nine plants on a 2x3 recycling container that are doing well so far, showing some flowers and 11/2 foot tall. I want to know how much beans will i be able to pick with such small space. Also, i have small dows on each plant, should i tie the plants to them?

They will produce for quite some time if you keep them picked. I check mine every day. So far I've gotten a half gallon bag full with MANY more maturing on the vines. You may want to stake them, yes.

I live on a second story apt and tried snap beans in a 3 gallon pot one year and I only got a handful.
