Blue tint to the whites of my daughters eyes???

can anyone help, my daughter who is 18months old has always had a blue tint to the whites of her eyes (she has blue eyes) and i have heard so many reasons as to why some say it is normal coz of her eye colour and some say it could me brital bone disease, does anyone know the real reason thankyou x x

  1. This is perfectly normal as it shows that her eyes are very healthy. When they start looking pink or red then you should worry.

  3. It probably is nothing but you should probably get her checked, just in case. (The one that springs to mind is osteogenesis imperfecta - brittle bone disease.) Hopefully nothing is wrong with her, but just to be on the safe side it's worth making sure.

    I do hope she is perfectly healthy.

  4. Blue scleras can either be normal or in rare circumstances, can be signs of several metabolic diseases. You need to talk to the doctor about this.
