  1. How long is a piece  of string?  It always seems to take forever for them to come up with anything useful!

    They seem to be too  busy creating disease in animals by feeding them on food that is cheap to produce even if its unatural to them, Such as reconstituted chicken muck to chickens and meat products in cattle and sheep food.  I would swear thats what happened in the cases of scrapie, BSE and CJD.

    I was unaware of bluetongue until recent months but there have always been midges and sheep so ask yourself how this disease came to be.


  2. They've had it in Europe for a while, the Dutch have been plagued by it and they're no slouches. Let's hope the combined attempts will come up with something quicker. If it hadn't been for the rising temperatures we would have remained safe.
