Blue wallpaper warning?

Question

Hey so I finally got my computer to turn on right, but I dunno how to get rid of this blue warning wallpaper. HEre's a screenshot:

Please help! My norton full system scan won't work, e ither! When I try to scan my computer, it says it's done but it only scans 0 files so my scanner isn't working... Please help, and don't try to tell me to "try this or that" 'cause I want a real solution to this and not like... yeah.

You have a rogue on your PC the warning is a fake.

An antivirus program will not remove this for it is not a virus, you have a codec on your computer which has put a rogue on your PC, malwarebytes removes this rogue.

I never "accepted the agreements"  - never the less it on there.

I agree with part of GINDURAS answer - smitfraudfix might remove it but sdfix won't.

try installing avg and scan with that or restore it in safe mode to a date when it worked fine

i dont know how to help, but dont install that, thats a virus, that mkes you pay to have your pc destroyed, do not install

-disconetct form the web untill the infections gone

Yes its simple just uninstall the norton secuirty system or remove ur current window and install a new one n donot install any secuirty system. install a ANTIVIRUS program it will handle every thing for u.

do not install the antivirus 2008xp coz it is the virus itself...

you still can fix this without knowing registry and so on. all you have to do is download this 2 software. SDFix and Smithfraudfix. then, run it..

Your computer is infected with rogue software called xp antivirus 2008. Download and run rogue antispyware removal tool from http://www.spywaregeeks.com to remove the rogue software from the computer.

Download the spybot!! Go to www.downloads.com and search for "spybot search and destroy". I just had a friend remove that anti virus c**p from my computer! It is a pain in the ***!!! Good luck! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING to get rid of that virus. It is probably from a window that asked you to run an "activeX" thingy. It happened to me, like two days ago! Run the spy bot search and destroy two or three times and then use the immunize option in the program and it will get rid of the virus stuff and then you should be able to set up whatever background you want.
