definitely BLUE RAY

  +50 GB memory

  +you can scratch the DVD with sand paper and it wouldn't get                  scratched WOW

  + better picture

   + its blue (just kidding)

hd dvd

  +30 GB (lame)

  +reduced quality (not as good)

I alittle mixed on this one too.....I am NOT going to run out and drop 30 bucks each to replace my current movie selection. Direct Download is gaining and you can get a 500 gig HD for 100 bucks they can hold many HD movies..............TBC

Yes Blu-Ray will become the next standard in home viedo format. But unlike when DVD replaced VHS, you will not need to replace your collection, your existing DVD's will still play on a Blu-Ray player

yeah i guess so. i don't see why they have to call it "blu ray" why cant they just start making better DVDs? i just found out what blu rays were like yesterday. and i didnt know hd dvd's existed.

I think that MS should buy HD and put it into the XBOX with MS you just cant win they will dump oney into it so much that it will have to win.
