Bluescreen of death[ keeps restarting PC] XP and VISTA?

hey first of all i had windows xp on my comp and this virus came on it telling me to scan my comp but when id click it it wouldnt work so i changed the desktop background and that left aswell but my comp kept restarting

so i formatted it and installed xp ... the same virus came and the bluescreen of death kept coming again i used spybot search and destroy trojanhunter and zonealarm but still no effect

i formatted again and installed vista and installed comodo firewall so far the virus hasn't come but the bluescrren of death comes very often and restarts my comp

  1. You might try smit fraud fix. It worked for me in a similar situation.

    It also sounds like you didn't select OS Install Mode when installing xp or vista, you might try that in set-up.


  2. You need to take it to a pro and have them do what is needed . It sounds as if you have lost all info on the drive any ways so why not just replace the hard drive with a new one $ 75 + $25 labor.  Other than replacement you will always have this problem. Hackers can cost a lot of money to every one.

  3. When you formated your computer, did you chose to do the long one? The one where is over writes your sectors on your computer, and then rewrites the info over that? That is a full wipe and may fix your problem.
