Bluetooth earpiece help?

i have a bluetooth device for my razr and i don't know how to use it? help! like i have my phone on, during a call, i have the bluetooth on, but how do you get the bluetooth ear piece to pick up the call?

you have to pair them both correctly, or else it won't work.
