Bluetooth on cell phone?

Question

I've heard of bluetooth and i just realized i have it on my cell. i have no idea how to use it. what is it? cant you like download songs and ringtones through it and share it with friends? if someone could please help me and tell me what bluetooth is and how to use it!! THANKS!:)

bluetooth allows your phone to connect with other bluetooth devices. these devices can include other peoples cellphones, bluetooth speakers, a computer with bluetooth, or headphones with bluetooth, all wirelessly. then u can transfer files from a computer / phone with bluetooth to your phone, and listen to music wirelessly.

exactly but it's very complicated, i suggest you just buy a headset and that way you can take calls without touvching ur phone

Bluetooth is a wireless technology that allows cellphones or other bluetooth enabled devices to "talk to" each other wirelessly. This lets you use a bluetooth headset (http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41... or transfer data with other phones or a bluetooth enable computer. You could download ringtones or songs through it only if you have the ringtone or song on your bluetooth enabled computer or other bluetooth phone. You could share songs or ringtones with bluetooth if you send the file to another phone. It is always a good idea when your not using bluetooth on your phone to keep bluetooth turned off as hackers can acess your phones files and send texts in your name through it.
